設計から施工、竣工に至るまでの流れからご説明し、疑問にお答えしていきます。
以下に、ご相談からプレゼンテーションまでの一般的な流れを簡単に記します。ご相談を受けた後でも、途中で降りるという判断をされることはまったく問題ありません。ご安心ください。
最初に、お電話、メールなどでお問合せいただいた後に、お近くにお住まいの方は来所いただき、詳細を伺い、説明させていただきます。現在お住いのご自宅や、計画予定地などを拝見したほうが良い場合もございますので、おっしゃっていただければ、その場に伺い、現地で相談させていただくことも可能です。
遠方にお住まいの方は、ご依頼内容と連絡先をメールか郵送、ファックスなどでお送りいただければ、その後のやり取りについてこちらから連絡させていただきます。設計をお引き受けする場合は、原則として一度、敷地を見に伺うことが必要ですが、諸事情で伺えない場合は、入手可能なさまざまな情報から検討を行ったり、WEB会議などの方法で、打合せさせていただくことも可能です。
ご相談のあとに、設計依頼をしてみたいと思われた方には、日を改めて、重要事項説明を行わせていただき、業務の内容と設計料の目安をお伝えいたします。重要事項説明書を交付したあと、ある程度ご要望がまとまり次第、第一回目の提案の準備を行います。第一回目の提案には、着手から1か月ほどお時間をいただきます。（重要事項説明は、本格的に設計に着手するまでの間に行うよう法で定められており、タイミングは前後する場合があります。）
プレゼンテーションを行い、その案にご了承いただけましたら、設計・監理契約を行い、基本設計から取り掛かります。提案にご納得いただけなかった場合、その理由を伺い、我々が修正提案、あるいは別案の提示をした方がいいという場合は少しお時間をいただき、再提案いたします。我々とご依頼主の考え方に隔たりが大きすぎる、あるいは依頼主の意向でそこで中断したい場合は、契約に至らずにプロジェクトを終了することになろうかと思います。
（その際には、図面・模型製作などの実費をいただく場合がございます。住宅の場合で10万円程度とお考えいただければと思います。案を転用することはお断りしています。）

Unless you work in this profession, building a structure is something that may happen once in a lifetime. Not knowing the process of designing and constructing a building is completely normal and nothing to be embarrassed about.

Below is a brief overview of the general process from consultation to presentation. It’s perfectly fine to decide to discontinue at any point, even after the initial consultation. Please don’t hesitate to reach out.
Initially, after you contact us via phone, email, or another method, if you live nearby, you can visit us, and we’ll discuss the details and provide explanations. If it’s beneficial, we may need to visit your current residence or the planned site to provide better advice. If needed, we can come to the location and consult with you there.
For those who live at a distance, if you can send us details of your request and contact information by email, mail, fax, or another method, we’ll get back to you to discuss further. Typically, it’s necessary for us to visit the site once for projects involving design, but if that’s not possible due to certain circumstances, we can make considerations based on the available information and have consultations through methods like web conferences.
After the consultation, for those who want to proceed with a design request, we will conduct a separate important matters explanation to inform you about the scope of our services and the estimated design fees. Following the issuance of the important matters explanation document, once your requirements are somewhat clear, we will begin preparing the first presentation. The first presentation may take about a month from the start of our involvement. (Important matters explanations are legally required to be conducted before full-fledged design work begins, and the timing may vary.)
We will conduct a presentation, and if you approve of the proposal, we will enter into a design and supervision contract, and we will start with the basic design. In case you do not agree with the proposal, we will discuss the reasons, and if it’s in your best interest for us to make revisions or provide a different proposal, we will need some additional time to do so. If there is a significant difference in perspectives between you and us, or if you wish to discontinue the project at that point, we will do so without entering into a contract.
(At that point, you may be charged for actual expenses such as drawings and model production; for residential projects, this is typically around 100,000 yen. Please note that we do not permit the reuse of our designs.)
